"In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:6
Being a teenager can be rough, because the future is unclear and you have yet to find your identity. If I would have known that God has a vision and a plan for my life that would dramatically change the world, I would not have wasted my teenage years on foolishness. I never had a vision and I never had a plan, so I never put forth my very best effort because it wouldn’t matter if I did.
Now I know that having a vision motivates you to keep going beyond what is required. Throughout my teenage years, I was looking for something worthwhile to do so that I could put all of my effort into it, but I never found anything until I turned to the Lord. I sought after the Lord with reckless abandon at the age of 17, and He responded by showing me how powerfully He would use my life! I look back at my life with some regret because I begin to imagine how different my life would be today if I had sought the Lord at an earlier age. What kind of impact could I have made in my school, in my youth group, or in my family that would have glorified and exalted the name of the Lord? God has given me a vision, and I will not go back to my old ways.
I encourage you to seek God so that you will receive your vision and go after it with everything you have.~ Written by Angel, an Honor Academy Alumni
Simply acknowledge Him in everything you do. That's all it is! Making Him the focal point of your life. And He will make your paths straight!
