Unrecognized..

It kind of upset me when someone today said,"I don't see why I should have to go to a church to tell a god just how great he is. He already know, right? So what's the point?"
I'll tell you! The point is to acknowledge the beauty and splendour and awesomeness of such a creator who MADE ALL OF US and EVERYTHING ELSE! Let's simplify, shall we?
If you made a bookshelf and sanded it, stained, etc.. and you were pretty proud of it and everyone else thought so too, you would want to hear some what of a compliment, right? What if NO ONE said anything because you "already knew" it was good. Bummer right?

Okay, not quiteee the same, but maybe that helps a little. Regardless, God is so Holy and glorious, why should He NOT deserve us? He deserves our undivided attention, but unfortunately, we don't don't give Him that. He is so splendid, so lovely. . He deserves recognition and praise. Not only because He made us and all, but because of how much He loves us and wants us and desires for us to be His. It's so much deeper than Him "already knowing". Scripture really is true ya know. Those who aren't of the spirit don't understand spiritual things. (and go figure, the Word IS God. hehe)
