Love-noun- a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
Clearly, the dictionary states that it's a noun (it's also a verb, as one would already know; I just didn't feel like putting more definitions.) However, what is love, on a deeper level?
To a scientist, perhaps, love "is an emotional reaction created by a reaction of hormones that increase a feeling of bonding, thus allowing for closer interpersonal relationships to increase chances of reproduction...." ("Even if that's the truth, I don't think love is that simple, even if it can be put scientifically, I still think it has spiritual significance and exists for a reason.")Yeah, that may be true, but what is love on a deeper level?
Someone once told me that love is that which breaks the rules. It's unstoppable and completely different than anything else. It's something God has blessed this world with and sometimes, the most real, most honest thing.
Yeah.. that's a bit better.. Shall we keep going? I think yes.
Love is a selfless, unconditional passion. It's unexplainable. Love is "an emotion, an action. It's something we're called to do unconditionally."
"Love is unexplainable, and its meant to be that way. love is suposed to overwhelm and consume you. love is the most of every emotion put together flowing through you faster than time itself."
"Love is the feeling you get that is overwelming and it sends your heart racing and you do or say something stupid... It happens to me when I see my person I like..."
I have heard, "I think it comes down to why and how often you want to be with someone."
To me.. I think love is like a fire; it's hard to put out. It lasts forever. Love is beautiful, honest, real. It's not something one should try to force or manipulate. One should let it come naturally. Love will stand the test of time. Love is.. deep.
